80th FFA Banquet April 27th 7PM

Come help us celebrate at our parent member banquet on April 27th at 7 pm in the Multi Purpose room. Students will be honored with awards, degree pins will be handed out, and we will enjoy a great meal prepared by Lear's and served to us by out FCCLA chapter. All parents and members should attend

Please attend the Annual Helping Hands and Senior Auction March 30th in the MP room at the high school.

Special thanks to Bill and Amy Graning for preparing the meal which will be Tri Tip, potato, cowboy beans and saland. Yummy!

Thanks also to Anna Butterfield for preparing the dessert.

Hope to see you there. If you have not purchased tickets they will be available at the door.

Enterprise Members Receive State Awards

Enterprise members take home top honors at state

Four FFA members of the Enterprise FFA chapter were named state winners for their proficiency projects at the 81^st annual State FFA Convention held in Corvallis Oregon on March 19^th thru the 22^nd. The winners are Jake Nicholls, Jaymes Butterfield, Kyle Stangel & Brooke Greenshields. To become eligible for the state competition these members must first fill out an extensive application and be selected as winners at the district level. After being selected on the district level their application is then passed on to industry experts in each specific area to be judged. Finally the applicant is interviewed by a committee of their peers and advisors at the state level and a winner is selected by adding up the application and interview scores. The winners were recognized on state during the Sunday evening session of convention and were awarded a state winning plaque and a checks totaling $300 each.

Advanced Parliamentary Procedure Team Wins District

The Advanced Parliamentary Procedure Team earned 1st place at the District FFA contest on February 10th. Team members included; Brooke Greenshields, Whitney Schaefer, Silje Christofferson, Rachael Garvin, Erich Roepke and Cole Sajonia.

FFA members donate a gift basket to a local family

In December members of our chapter voted to go on a shopping spree at Walmart. The plan was to complete our district service project. Each chapter at the Eastern Oregon Leadership camp was assigned a needy family in their home town. Chapters were then supposed to put together a gift or food basket for the family. We discussed and voted on the amount and shopping day at our meeting. We had a great time shopping and hopefully allowed the families holiday season to be a little brighter.
